Essential oils are used in many types of diffusers and, in my opinion, the only way to use scent throughout a room. It is non-aerosal and non-spray compared to manufactured brand inhalants. For example, Glade's air freshener spray has the warning "Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal".
